I just wish you all the, all the best from the bottom of my heart! You deserve everything good in the world because you as a person are remarkable and totally unique, which is the best part of you. You're special and not only I see that in you. Everyone does! You're a great ate, not only to Noel but to everyone in the community and you have no idea how much everyone appreciates you and is grateful for your help or your shoulder to cry on. Furthermore, you are a great daughter and a great friend and you can see that by just how big your circle of friends has grown over the past couple of months! I am proud to say that you're my bestie :) You, as well as I myself, have upgraded! YAY! HAHAHA xD Refering to the pictures we looked at the other day as Teenagers (but as in Teenagers)! You're a big part of me, but you know that already ;D But just to remind you, I'm always there for you, as in ALWAYS :D Whenever there's something you need, just holla at your girl!

But don't think, just because it's your special day I'm going all cheesy and honest with you! You know that these words count every day! Enlightenment

I've done some changes on my blogsite yet again and I must say I'm not that satisfied with it yet. As soon as I get a little more time I might experiment with it again but as for now, I'll leave it this way. Yes, and even the fonts of the text have changed, but just because I found out that you could click on the 'compose' mode. FUNNY - I'm so lame. ANYWAYS, the technological enlightenment is not meant here on this current post, but I have been wondering around lately trying to look for new inspo for a change of style. I have found something but I haven't found the time to implement it. It has to do with parents' clothes or more to do with daddy's clothes. That's my idea for now. Whenever I get the time I might go and check out some of the secondhand stores I have in my area. Let's see if they're any good :D Zara and H&M don't tempt me at the moment neither that forever21 store that will soon open up in Vienna's Kärnterstraße. Seems like I'm pretty bored with the fashion of these houses already. I so can't wait for spring to be finally here. Warm weather, blue sky, my birthday and of course graduation peek time :D That's what's up!

Inspiration, where you at?

I'm kind of bored of the hipster/chique look nowadays. I mean, I guess I will always have these influences in my style if ever I go through a major make-over but it is hard finding something new. I slowly get tired of the same old same old stylers' style - doesnt matter if you understand what i mean by that :P all I'd like are comfy clothes, oversized clothes, preferably with leggings and comfy shoes. Yes, I'm a fan of comfortable, laid-back, easy clothes. But then again, I also wanna look nice and edgy. Haven't been shopping in ages as well so I have no idea what the stores offer nowadays. I had my hair cut the other day and I am pretty satisfied with the outcome. I don't really have to do all that much with my hair, except straighten it a little bit but not more than that. My new hair-idol would be Jen Suk. I adore her hair. It's really edgy and different in some way and it kinda suits to her personality (I guess).
Anyways, it is hard finding some inspiration. If I were to choose the influences I'd take all brit-it girls together and mix all their styles up :P yes, that most probably be me in some way :P

cough, cough, sniff, sniff,. sneeze, sneeze and this in a jazzy rythm

First up, I'm sick as the headline can tell. Runny nose, coughs here and there and drowsy condition. School today went by quite fast I must say although when the headache kicked in, all I wanted was go back to bed. Funnily enough, as I've been contemplating about going to school today, I didn't feel all that bad in the morning.
Anyways, wow. I haven't blogged all that much lately. At least nothing deep or something. So, the second semester has begun a week ago and the teachers try to scare us students that this semester is hella short - it is but they make it sound so hopeless. After the 15 April all the grades for the whole year have to be ready, meaning changes cannot be made anymore. On the same day our school has a prom. I might be going since it's my senior prom and my last prom as a student. But more important, I'll be surrounded by cool people there :D Maybe you're one of them ;)

I realised that I have to work so much more now to really get to where I want to be. It's just nowadays I do not really learn from my mistakes because something in me stops myself and it just sucks because I could do so much more. I kind of ignore the fact the I can do so much more and I guess thats the problem. I've got to focus more on the positive things in myself rather than see myself in a bad and dark light. I know I can do it and I'm not stupid, otherwise I wouldn't be here where I am now :)

Friday, however, was super fun. I had my hair cut - yes, I'm a mushroom again :P After I had my hair cut I went to Sio's place straightaway to help her out for the Household. The household was inspiring yet again and I am so stoked and psyched about the YFL-Fambam. I love being there with all the people because it's so nice seeing these kids grow in love with the Lord. Yes, the community has grown and that within the shortest time. I'm just so grateful for the opportunity to be part of this whole thing :D During the household there have been so many fits of laughter. Especially the boys. I think it's super sweet of them how they just click and bond. Brotherhood ftw.

So here I am, in bed, sick and just rambling about stuff. Maybe more rambling will come in the course of the week :) for now, gotta be hopeful and gotta keep my head up.

VTOWN presents: copy_paste Ursula Stressned

Some of my friends posted this on FB and I was curious what this was and it quite surprised me. It's a remake of Ducksauce's Barbra Streisand from the Vienna Scene and I am most impressed by it. That's Vienna for you, you guys. It's one of the best cities to live in :D I am happy that the art, fashion & music scene is slowly becoming something huge here! Big ups for copy_paste! Hey dolls! I’m so happy to take some time to write some thoughts I have about success, love and positive thinking on TheDailyLove.com!

In this business there’s a lot of hype, glam and superficiality that can really get the best of you. On top of that, in today’s world there is so much negativity that it can be really hard to stay positive and focused on your dream. But none of the surface stuff or negativity matters; the only thing that matters is believing in yourself – no matter what.

Here are some tips on how to be successful and stay positive!

Number 1 - Love your haters!

The more you shine, the more people will want to keep you down. Don’t let them! Celebrate that people are watching you, even if they aren’t loving what you’re doing. Haters are a part of success and help you believe in yourself ! If you believe the haters more than yourself, they’ve won. Don’t let the haters win; let them push you to believe in YOU even more!

Number 2 - Work hard!

Nothing is more important than hard work! Life doesn’t give you success; you have to go out there and make it happen. Your dreams are totally doable but hard work is how they come true!

Number 3 - Stay positive!

There’s enough hate and negativity out there to drive anyone crazy! But that doesn’t mean it has to drive you crazy! No matter what happens, keep a positive mindset! Positive thinking and working hard make those dreams come true, dolls!

Number 4 - Build a great team!

There is no way I could do what I do without an amazing team. Don’t try to do everything yourself. It’s SOOO important to know what you’re good at and then be really good at it. Find people who are good at the stuff you’re not so good at and empower them to shine! It takes team work to make the dream work!

Number 5 - Know your worth!

There’s no way you’ll be able to live your dream if you don’t feel worthy. You are so special and when you know this you can really make some magic happen in your life.

I've just looked at my very old tumblr blogs and found this.
I was just thinking to put some of my old blogs in here.. just like that, just because i feel like it :P

I figured, that you don’t have to grow apart when you don’t want to. As long as you’ve got the will to figure it all out and try your best sticking to them then you can be part of everyone’s life. The insecurities of not being an important person to someone or not being part of the game just hinder you from staying in that person’s life. You’ve got to ignore the insecurities and just live the moment and take every opportunity and chance there is - that’s how insecurities might fade away. No, you can’t play your cards against nature but you can play your cards in a certain order that for a moment come out of your shell and be someone you’re not used to. In life, you regret a lot but you also learn from the mistakes you make.

Valenti(m)ne's Day

I remember that episode of 'The Ashlee Simpson Show' where they celebrated Valentine's and her best friend thought that the holiday was called Valentime's Day. Hilarious. What you don't catch from all the tv-shows.

So yeah, yesterday was Valentine's and I must admit, I haven't expected all that much. All I wanted was to have time for my loved ones to tell them how happy I am to have them in my life and appreciate them so much. It's true that you shouldn't see Valentine's Day as a just for love. Love should be in your life 24/7, 365 days, 52 weeks, 12 months!! It should be there alll the time because as you know, love conquers all.

However, even I had imaginations of a perfect Valentine's Date Scenario before I fell asleep and just ran through the day. It doesn't necessarily have to happen in future or such, but if I were to picture my V-Day date it would probably look like this:
*Couch
*Pillows
*Blankets
*PJs
*Movies
*Take away food or for the little romantic flair, homemade food
*Candles
*Ice Cream, Popcorn, Chips
*Loved ones or lover

Just a simple hangout day because I think, without all the fuss around that arbritrary day you kind of appreciate the little things even more.
I hope you guys had a good Valentine's Day and I really hope you didn't feel lonely at all.

I've read an article today about the author Amy Chua who has recently published her book "Battle Hypmne of the Tiger Mother". The book is about her educational or bringing-up method and has lead to a controversy in the States. The reason for the controversy was that this book does not teach you how to bring up your child with love and affection but with discipline,coldharted and mercilessness. The way she brought up her children was driven by success and perfection. Thus, her children were drilled to become this. No wonder that this book was controversial.

I'm not going into the upbringing theme but more into what people drive. In this case success and perfection is being drilled. Not that success is something really bad. Everyone wants to succeed and there's nothing to argue about but perfection is like a thorn in my eye. I have nothing against driven and ambitious people, none at all, I even know that it's the best receipe to get to your goals but what I don't understand is, why people are never satisfied when they have done a good job anyway.
It's like with grades. People have a 'B' but aren't yet happy about it. Just look around you and consider other people who'd love to have a 'B' but have to consider themselves content with a 'D' - and actually are.
So while the person with the good grade is unhappy about it, the person with just a positive grade feels truly happy. Where's the mistake, though?

Okay, an example. You have strived and worked hard for a good grade for this essay you had to write. You pictured yourself getting the paper back with a big, red 'A' on it. However, when you actually get it back it just says 'B'. Would one be disappointed about that result? NO.
You shouldn't be disappointed at all. You've worked hard for it, that might be true but why would you be unhappy about a good grade that most other people would love to have?
When you think nothing is ever good enough, count your blessings and look at yourself again. Consider other people in your situation of dissatisfaction. Where's your sympathy? And as I've said, there's no argument of why you shouldn't be ambitious but why can't you just settle for something that is good enough once in your life?
Whining about it doesn't make things better for you or your environment either. That's how negative you can be - being unhappy because of something great. The more you live this kind of life, of not being content with good happenings because you want more, the more you can be sure that your life wouldn't be good enough as well. Nothing ever will be good enough. It's sad because the one who created you is already giving you everything he can to offer just to make you happy but still, you're not content.

Back to Amy Chua who brought up her kids with many restrictions and rules.
In my opinion, how can you want your kids not to be happy? Why would you want to 'create' your kid's personality? Why are you being selfish?
Education plays a big role in people's life, no doubt, in mine as well but that's not how you live life. Life is too short to be the best everywhere. Life is too short to always want to be on the top because at the end, when you're lying on your deathbed and picture your past life in front of you, will you be able to say that you've had the best life ever with no regrets?
Imagine you have always strived and worked hard for being the best and totally neglected life. Wouldn't it be sad if all you can say was that you've always been the best at everything but never really felt love or joy?
As a mother its self-evident that you want your kids to be great in school and to be a good kid but being a mother also means showing affection, showing your kid what happiness is and how to simply enjoy life. You might have accomplished much but when it was just that in your life, then why have you lived in the first place?

Many people just take things for granted and mostly the little things. Smiles for example. It's something you do every day and see people doing it every day and therefore it's something usual, but when you think that there are people out there who have a hard time, a smile would make their day even if it's only one day out of their miserable life. They would feel hope and even affection, even if it's a stranger. Happiness can't be based on facts, figures and data. Happiness and contentment comes from the inside and the way you think.

I've gone through up and downs with my contentment and happiness and I've just realised that I should count my blessings and that will reassure myself and will prove that I can't be happier. Things in life might not go the way I want them to go but there's a purpose behind it and as they say, nothing lasts forever! Neither the good things nor the bad things, so enjoy and appreciate all the good things and have hope for the negative things have its ends as well.

10. EXPECTATIONS OF OTHERS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT NO MATTER WHAT.

meaning, never EVER expect anything from anyone. unfortunately, we live in a selfish world where people use, manipulate and abuse others. focus on your own personal expectations and follow through.



9. NEVER FULLY DISCLOSE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF.

it's so sad but true. life is not like it was when we were children playing on the monkey bars or swinging free on the swing sets during recess. what you say to another, even that person who you believe is your friend and who also shares personal information with you, will most likely be used against you.



8. TRUST YOUR GUT INSTINCT, A 100% OF THE TIME, IT IS ALWAYS CORRECT.

trust it people. seriously, the inner self knows. people as a whole are capable of so much but fail in believing in their personal selves. it's the ultimate SELF SABOTAGE. yes, when your little voice within screams out; please do not ignore it. there is truth behind the message, as much as you do not want to acknowledge it.



7. PEOPLE DO NOT CARE, ESPECIALLY IN EMPLOYMENT, HEALTH CARE, AND BILL COLLECTORS.

no one cares. PERIOD!!!! you think people care. you believe people want to listen to you and help you. not the case. there are a select few who exist in this world aiding others without wanting something in return. A FEW!!!! employers want stoic money making robots, the health care industry, well, trust me...work with some doctors, nurses, EMT people and you'll see for yourself. i'm mainly concerned about the insurance aspect which to me is the most ridiculous waste of money ever. and finally, telling Mr. Bill Collector your life story WILL not make the bill disappear, vanish or even cause such person to even remotely for one second want to go out of their way and make things any easier for you. it's all about MONEY!!!!



6. TRUST YOURSELF.

you are all that you have. the answers to most of our questions or worries are within. it does take a little effort receiving them. one does have to chill out for a second, slow down the myriad of racing thoughts, focus and listen. it's the internal chaos which distracts us.



5. NEVER DEPEND ON ANYONE.

no one is going to protect, love or nurture you. i'm so sorry. oh there will be times when it appears that all of those things are being done. all good things come to an end, the honeymoon wears off, and boom, there you are naked, stripped because you allowed yourself to do everything and anything for that individual, lost your identity, abandoned complete faith in yourself, and ultimately lost your independence of self.



4. YOUR LIFE IS EXACTLY THAT; YOUR LIFE.

your life. PERIOD!!!! you came into this world alone. your life is your personal journey. all of us have something we are supposed to conquer, understand or learn in order fulfill our individual essence or meaning. basically, stop that demeaning life style where you are living someone else's life. you cannot change anyone. no matter HOW much you do, no matter HOW much you love, no matter HOW skinny, HOW pretty, HOW intelligent you are; it doesn't matter because selfish, egotistical, manipulators will devour you. when they are finished, they will spit you out leaving you to fend for yourself.



3. FRIENDS, THEY COME AND THEY GO.

friends are revolving doors. here one minute, gone the next. CO-WORKERS are NOT friends.



2. STOP LIVING IN FEAR.

fear is like a disease causing anxiety, self doubt, bitterness, and resentment. it's fear which gets in the way of so much. it's very hard not allowing fear to seep in consuming and destroying everything. basically, stop the fear before it stops you.



1. NO ONE IS GOING TO LOVE YOU THE WAY YOU WANT THEM TO.

even if you are the most incredible, awesome, amazing person ever you too will find that no one is going to love you the way you desire. the ONLY one who is going to LOVE you that way is: YOURSELF!

Don't make me regret this

Sometimes wanting to see the best in people could totally go wrong. When you've put so much effort and all your energy into that person because you believed there were other ways and better sides in them.
I'm a strong believer of such people because every person deserves a chance. Nevertheless, I too have experienced disappointments. Disappointments I am still struggling with today although I cope.

Sometimes you can't control how life takes its course and therefore have to experience letdowns. I can compeletely understand when two persons grow apart, that's just how life is, natural. It might be sad but if it's meant to be then some day you'll find yourselves together again.

Unfortunatley, there are people in the world who lead you on. People who try to change themselves just for the sake of the situation they are in. They might want to impress you and wrap you around their little finger and that's why they would say things that might make you think 'wow'. The first impression always counts but would you settle yourself with just that one chance?
It doesn't end at just that. It is not fair to other to leave it just at that.
I was never of the opinion to be content with the first impression of people because people have so much more in them and sadly how it is in this world, people just don't care.

I want to go back to talk about when people lead you on with their fake personality and appearances. For my part, it is the most unfair thing to do. You can't just try to be someone you're not and make everyone believe that. Where's honesty? Where's appreciation for being honest? Where's the respect in this?
Why lie at people when you don't gain anything from it? Why lie to yourself when you can be yourself?
It never feels good to be lied at. Especially being lied at with things that you might think is serious or affects you.

Here's my message to you:
Be yourself - at least one person will appreciate the way you are.
Never lead people on - you won't gain anything from it.
Don't repeat but do learn from your mistakes - it reduces the hurt in the end.
Finally, never let any person leave with the thought, they have regretted getting to know you.

Idol of the Month - Natalie Portman

I just got home from watching Black Swan. That movie literally braineffed me but regardless, I was most impressed. I have always adored Natalie Portman. Even in her calm years since her real comeback was actually last year or this year. I always knew she had so much potential in her and she proved it with this movie as well as the upcoming movies. I just don't adore her because she is pretty and very talented but she is also a little brainy. She graduated from Harvard University, can speak more than three languages and even co-lectured at Columbia University. Well that's inspiration for you. She said herself she'd rather be smart than a movie star. I think that is a very important aspect and I am glad that she is one of the few movie stars along Jake Gyllenhall or James Franco who still educate themselves even though they already have it all. I think she is truly an inspiration and very much down to earth. She deserved that Golden Globe and also does deserve the Oscar for her performance.

However, neuromarketing, which studies consumers' cognitive and affective response to marketing stimuli has been a success with Cellulite-Cremes where fear was the incentive. In many aspects feelings and emotions do play a big role in marketing.
With Ikea’s new commercial it had caused a new way of thinking. It is said to be that when the commercial has been done well then the products must be good as well. That means staging in advertising and marketing is gaining importance as well.

In conclusion the creative heads bet and trust on their gut feelings when developing a new concepts and count on new methods of marketing such as putting the customers’ needs first and even let them decide and actively participate in the launching of products. Moreover, guerilla marketing but also the whole spectrums of marketing channels are gaining more importance as well as combinations of various strategies.
