To be honest with you, I pretty often get caught up in my own little bubble, where just my opinions count and nothing else. Yes, you're right - it's not the best attitude. And I agree with you. Hence, I always find myself in an uncomfortable situation whenever I meet people that have a totally different opinion as me. I learned that that's the beauty of being in a dialog with other minds, though. Of course, it's one of the best things to be surrounded by like-minded people, however, the more you're closed off to other opinions, attitudes and views, the more you stagnate and your mind doesn't get the nourishment it needs to be able to develop.
The past days have lead me to this realisation because I've fully appreciated the way people think and how interesting it is to see how they view the world. Through my courses at University, my mind opened to a lot of new things that I truly want to explore more. The past couple of years my brain was truly dry. I was always trying to find new things but never found anything. That's why I settled with what I had and of course, those things couldn't satisfy my hunger for exploration.
I don't know what happened but I'm done with the shallowness in life. I'm done with unchallenging conversations. I'm done with keeping my view on things for myself. I'm craving for information, visions and messages. I'm craving for conversations that are enriching yet also challenging. How else can you bring out the best in each other if not challenging each others minds? Use your voice and share it with the people around you. It's okay if they don't agree - at least you made them think about it, even for just a second.
