Just a week ago, the YFL SHOUT activity ended in Ireland and I am still in awe about all the things that I was able to experience up north. It was my second mission outside Austria and I was super excited about going away to an english speaking country. Going away for Easter was somewhat weird to me because I'd usually spend it with my family but little did I know that Ireland felt like family. It's such an inspiration to see a small community being so passionate about their faith and about each other. I could tell that their love for each other as well as their bondage as brothers and sisters grew stronger at the end of the weekend. It was just wonderful to be a witness of that and I'm so happy I was part of it. Just like the saying 'everything happens for a reason', indeed, during that weekend we really knew that we were part of it because of a reason that only we know deep in our hearts. It was a mission full of love, friendship and laughter. I felt so much love from everyone and it encouraged me to give so much love back. I also developed so much love for the brothers and sisters I got to serve with. God truly works in mysterious ways. It humbles me that I was able to see sides of them I'd never thought I was going to see. You #brusjans are such an inspiration to me and I'm glad I got to know you guys more. Also, the irish community is such an inspiration. I love how they're super loud and super passionate and I know that God has a lot in store for them as well. I'm excited for them and I can't wait to go back.

This mission just taught me so much about how to be proud of being a chosen few, to get to know Him from the inside out, to learn that God is love, to deny myself, take up my cross and follow Him and to do all this for the sake of the call.
