BABY BE MINE by MICHAEL JACKSON | CHOREOGRAPHY by MORIELLE BUENAFLOR & VICENTE SAMUEL CALA VII

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I actually cannot believe that I haven't posted this yet, but due to a lot of stuff going at the moment it must have slipped my mind! I hope you all had a great Christmas, a great New Year's Eve and of course great holidays inbetween.
As you can see, I totally think it is necessary for me to say it once again: My new year's resolution is definitely trying to update my blog regularly. With that said, I hope you like my new layout and 'logo'.

But now to these two lovely people:
Over the past years I was lucky enough to have gotten to know a lot of talented people. Which brings me to these two talented dancers. They inspire me in so many ways and I am glad that they make the best out of their talent. This piece is very creative and fresh and I am glad that I can share it with you. Enjoy!

Dancers/Choreographed by:
Morielle Buenaflor (T'Bubbles)
Vicente Samuel Cala VII (PNoise)

MOVE 31.10.2011 - A short recap

If you weren't there, you surely have missed out on it. The MOVE-Event was another highlight of this year. The sold-out event began with a grand opening by a dance collaboration of the YFLs and YFCs (both a charismatic catholic youth group).  The performance was a perfect intro and taste to what the audience had to expect that night. The two hosts Bryan Calvo (organiser) and Dorothea Wohak officially opened the event followed by the introduction of the judges Eli Laureta, Jan Erik Santos and David Leung.
The competition was set up as follows: Each dance group contestant was introduced through their own short film followed by their actual dance performance. After every contestant had their turn, the judges gave their votes and decided on the three final groups.
The three lucky winners of the first round were T'Bubbles, SWAG and PNoise, who then had to battle to the same song directly after another in rotation. If you thought their first round performance was good, the second round proved how much further they could go to reach for their dreams.
The crowd literally went mad during their performances. After the judges gave their last vote with the help of the audience themselves, the winner was decided. CONGRATULATIONS, again PNoise for taking over the first place!! It was a very tough decision since all three were just mindblowing.
