LENT

Yeah, we're in this season again - lent. To be honest, I was quite caught off guard when I found out that lent season started tomorrow already. I haven't prepared at all and I can't really say what I would want to fast. However, I decided to read this great book 'The Purpose Driven Life' during this season. I heard a lot about it and I thought it was high time for me to have a read of it as well. I am kinda looking forward to it but at the same time, I'm also very nervous. You might wonder why I would be nervous! Well, I've gotten to a point in my life where I just need to find a lot of answers to my questions. Sometimes you got everything figured out, but then it hits you out of the blue and you're not quite sure about your life anymore.
Lent, therefore, is a very important season for me to reflect on things and not to lose my way and especially him! I hope you guys have figured out what to fast for 40 days! Wish you all the best!

Leicht verfressen?

Ohhh yes! A post only dedicated to the food I had in Oslo. I took some snapshots of what I ate. We ate out a lot and the food was just reaaaaal good! We also had Tapas - it was my first time ever to try - but I didn't take any pictures of it since I was so busy eating the good food. Thank yous to the guy who brought me to the coolest eating spots.

Alright, alright, alriiiiiiiighhtt: Oslo 06/02/ - 13/02/

Heei, dear friends! Haven't posted a lot lately and that's because right after the uni stress I got to go to Oslo and spend some time with my norwegian dork and relax. I was pretty nervous flying by myself since it was the first time ever but I managed. I got that little help from Dora, the Explorer in me! The first couple of days were just basically hanging out and eating out - a lot. It was great food and great fun. The food part though, will get an extra post because I've taken so many food pictures. I was really stoked getting to see Oslo and just by thinking back although the city is rather small you get to places really easily. People who enjoy walking around as I do, will enjoy as much. The people were nice and I was really excited about going into the stores and see what they offer. Of course, they offer EVERYTHING VTown doesn't offer. The weather was just alright. It wasn't as cold as I thought it would be and I am kind of happy that I was there and not in much-colder-Vienna. Anyways, I was so excited to meet all of Jas' friends and I was psyched about how warmly they welcomed me as well as meeting YFL-Norway! Great meeting you guys and I can't wait to see you in Lübeck! It was a great week with lots of laughs and new places to see.

Thanks bunches Club Apartment, Maggie, the BAWS-Gang, De Claro family and eeeeeeeeeveryone else for making my stay awesome! I'm sure coming back, bet on that!

Mhhhh... rant... tension

So, just yesterday I had a very big exam to write and I am pretty tensed about the results. Things would really get complicated if I don't pass the exam so I am really hoping and praying for the best. February will be quite an eventful month for me. I'll be having vacation, my little brother turns 8 and my BFF will also finally get her number two in her age. Besides all these events, I just hope that February will treat us all well. I can't wait to see all my friends again, since I haven't seen them in a long time due to exam preparations. Although the girls and I update each other every day, we kinda do miss each other... only a little bit.
Who ever follows me on instagram or twitter or is my friend on FB knows that I'm pretty much a nerd lately. Not in the sense of study nerdy but more PS3-kinda-nerdy. It started out with Call of Duty - Black Ops and has now evolved into NBA2K11. It's not like I've gotten addicted to it but it's more a complementary activity besides being on the net the whole day since you cannot really go out in such a cold weather. Who would've thought that VTown reaches somewhat -11°C this winter? I just hope that spring won't keep us waiting too long. I need that warm weather back!!

Anyways... I hope you still enjoyed reading my little rant and update. As soon as I got a grip on my life again, meaning when my life is more eventful, I will sure update my blogs regularly and let you guys know, what I've been up to these days!
