DIMANCHE D'EXPRESSION

The little monster celebrated his 8th Birthday the other day and I must say, it was quite fun. He invited his classmates over as well as some aunts and uncles. The kids enjoyed the party and were super exhausted after playing loads of rounds of Just Dance 3. I had a great time myself watching the kids play around and of course having my friends over. Lots of laughs and lots of bonding time. Super enjoy!

Och, how I miss my girls!! We haven't seen each other in ages due to exam stress and work. Can't wait for TG-bonding time again and catching up with things. And yes, coincidences happen a lot with us!

As for me, reality always has a way of knocking hard on my door. You are intoxicated by the happiness you feel at the moment but at the same time wait for something that kills the moment because it just seems too good to be true. How right that is because life can't always be happy-go-lucky. Bless the people who do have a happy-go-lucky life though. At the moment, I feel as if I'm put on a trust test. On one hand trusting people who are close to my heart and on the other hand trusting the one and only up there. I have always had to learn things the hard way and I used to accept that aspect in my life but nowadays I find it harder than I used to. That is where the trust plays a role because if I have enough trust in His plan then I wouldn't have to hold a grudge against everyone that try to interfere in my plans and I'm in no position to make selfish decisions or be selfish at all. What ever happens lies in His hands and that's that.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.”

They are there when you most need it, even when you think you don't. They know you better than anyone else and you haven't even realised it. They might not always share the same opinion as you but at the end of the day they know better. They show you the way when you feel lost. They pull you back to the ground when your heads are in the clouds. And sometimes, even when you don't feel or see it, they wouldn't exchange you for anyone in the world, because they love you so much.

They said, once you hit rock bottom there's no way but up. However, the first step always stays the hardest. Who would have thought that gathering all your thoughts and trying to put them in the right place would be the hardest to do? Nevertheless, time will come when even a forsaken place won't make you feel alone but will make you see the beauty in it.
