FEAR.

Each and every person has fears. One would fear spiders, the others would fear needles or heights, or students would fear exams or tests, but what about fearing life and its happenings? See, people's actions are motivated either by love or fear*. Which, in some way is very true. How often have we refused a potential life-changing situation out of fear of changes? How often have we avoided serious conversations out of fear of being rejected? How often have we failed to open up to people who loved us out of fear of getting hurt? And how often have we tried to control each and every area of our lives out of fear that everything would fall apart?

MERCI, ZÜRI: Day 2

Day two in Zürich was beautiful. We were blessed with great, sunny and warm weather. Visited the University of Zürich and also roamed around the picturesque old town. Our last day in ZH ended in the park, chilling next to the Zurich Lake in the sun, next to loads of boomboxes blurting all kinds of music. Zürich, see you sooon :D Can't believe it took me more than a year to travel again. Oh, how I missed it.

MERCI, ZÜRI: Day 1

What a bummer it is to know, that you have to be even more patient to see your most favourite band on the planet. Nevertheless, the plane tickets and the hotel room were booked, therefore my loser partner and I had no other choice to go to that little get away trip to Zürich. However, we couldn't complain at all. The food was good, the people were extremely welcoming and nice and the weather was perfect just to relax and catch up. Thanks guys for your hospitality! You have made our stay really great. We can't wait to see you in Summer :)

It feels like ages when I last wrote a post, however, since I have neglected my writing a lot these days, I am really trying to get back on track with it. I've been journalling a lot lately and that only means that I have a lot to share with the Creator. The past month has been very tough and I admit that I have lost faith in myself. I'm desperate to get back every inch of "me" there is that I have lost along the way. I tell you, growing up isn't easy and it sure is even more difficult when you don't believe in yourself or when you don't appreciate yourself. Us women have to struggle with these insecurities every single day and we also realise how much it affects our peers. A couple of weeks ago, I found this article. I love Joyce Meyer's books and she is such a great inspiration. I hope this article helps as much as it helps me to remember, that we are worth it and that it's what God wants us to see ourselves.
